Cookie Policy

Effective date: 17 July 2026  |  Last updated: 17 July 2026

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Optimal Proces uses cookies and similar technologies on the Website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and scripts. Some are set by us through Squarespace and others may be set by third-party services.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These technologies are required for core functions such as security, network management, shopping-cart and checkout operation, cookie-consent storage, form operation and session continuity. They cannot normally be disabled through our consent tool because the Website may not function correctly without them. The legal basis is the provision of the service you request and our legitimate interest in operating a secure Website.

Functional and preference cookies

These remember choices such as language and interface preferences. Weglot may use storage or similar technologies to provide and remember language functionality. Where the law requires consent for a particular preference technology, it will not be activated until consent is given.

Analytics cookies

Squarespace Analytics may measure visits, traffic sources and interaction with the Website. Where these technologies are not strictly necessary, they are blocked until you consent. We do not currently use Google Analytics.

Advertising and embedded-media cookies

We do not currently use Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or advertising cookies, and no YouTube videos are currently embedded. If advertising, analytics or embedded-media services are introduced, this policy and the consent tool will be updated before those non-essential technologies are enabled.

3. Services currently relevant

·       Squarespace: hosting, security, forms, commerce, newsletter storage, cookie consent and first-party website analytics. Cookie names and durations may vary by feature and session.

·       Weglot: website translation and language preferences.

·       Payment providers: when commerce is enabled, Stripe, Squarespace Payments and/or PayPal may use strictly necessary security, fraud-prevention and checkout technologies on their services.

·       Microsoft 365: receives form correspondence sent to our business email; it is not used as a website advertising tracker.

Up-to-date technical details may also be available through the cookie settings panel, your browser’s storage tools and the providers’ own cookie notices.

4. Consent choices

On your first visit, the cookie banner provides options to accept non-essential cookies, decline them, or manage preferences. Declining must remain as accessible as accepting. Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie-preferences link or panel on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Clearing browser storage may cause the banner to appear again.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect checkout, forms, language selection or other Website functions. Consult your browser’s help documentation for instructions.

6. Retention

Session cookies expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain for the period specified by the relevant provider or until deleted. We retain consent records only as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and periodically request renewed consent where appropriate.

7. Changes and contact

We update this policy when technologies or providers change. Questions about cookies or consent can be sent to sabir@optimaalproces.nl.
